1. Innovation Coordinator Marketing

The role:
The successful candidate will manage, plan and organize the resources available throughout MTN for the development of VAS/content services, promotions and products. They will liaise with and organize the onboarding of 3rd parties on the MTN network; and strategically analyze MTN’s positioning to suggest new products and services and/or enhancements to current.
Responsibilities: 
  •  Define any new product development and product requirements based on the technology roadmap of MTN and in conjunction with the various product managers.
  •  Drive business model innovations which would result in pricing and product innovations.
  •  Develop the Product portfolio plan to fit various market segments in conjunction with the various segment managers.
  •  Negotiating contracts with 3rd parties. Ensure effective interaction with the product suppliers
  •  Application of regulatory guidelines and mitigation of risk stemming from 3rd party services deployment.
  •  Ensuring that the portal content and communication is in line with the brand values.
  •  Manage the consumer product development process and lead cross-functional teams to ensure delivery towards product objectives.
  •  Provide input into price plans, tariff regulatory compliance and commercial health of the product portfolio.
  •  Determine the profitability of existing product portfolio and new products through financial modeling and analysis.
  •  Undertake regular market research and gather market intelligence to identify new product development opportunities and enhancements.
Experience/Knowledge:
  • Degree or Business qualification in Marketing with Information Science  – IT or Engineering related knowledge will be considered as an extra asset
  • UI/UX knowledge on Mobile or Fixed Applications/Services will be a strong asset
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Product Management in a Technical department and/or Marketing will be considered a strong asset
  • 3 years’ experience in related sector (Telecoms/IT/ISP)
  • Understanding of mobile technology as well as national and global trends
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and market dynamics
  • Knowledge of Product development
  • Understanding of mobile content portals
  • Financial understanding
  • Excellent communication skills

2. IP Network And Corporate Services Support Engineer

The role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operation, configuration, implementation and maintenance procedures for the IP services and Corporate Services for the MTN network. Participate in the safe integration, introduction & development of peripheral systems or services and establish the technical acceptance for the network. Participate in trainings and meetings with other departments and study the functionality and evolution for IP technologies.
Responsibilities: 
  •  Preventive maintenance tasks in order to achieve high QoS and to minimize the service outages of the IP network, solutions and NMS systems.
  • Coordinate and discuss with the IP Network and Corporate Services Support Manager about the results in order to meet with the needs of the department.
  • Daily operation and maintenance upon the IP network elements and services and the ability to identify and troubleshoot problems and realizes important problems/issues, the severity of their consequences. Develops solution taking into consideration the company’s priorities, each individual’s skills, and the urgency of the problem. Refer unusual system/network behavior to the IP Manager in order to deliver the services required by the company’s standards.
  •  Coordinate or participate in meetings with NMC section in order to provide technical assistance related to operational problems of the network.
  •  Provides second level of support towards Customer Care.
  •  Coordinate and participate in meetings with Planning, IT/Provisioning, IT/Billing, Switching Access Network Transmission and Corporate Sales in order to provide technical assistance of implementation or integration of new services or platforms within the network..
  • Provides second level of support towards Corporate Sales or Corporate customers.
  •  Provide feedback and coordinates accordingly upon Feasibility Studies deliver by the Planning Department related to new installations (services/systems or hardware) that are planned to be integrate within the network or to be supported by the section.
  • Responsible to provide technical assistance for operation, configuration implementation and maintenance procedures for the hosted services and NMS systems for the MTN network and the network elements that compose the solutions.
  •  Participate in the safe integration, introduction & development of peripheral systems or services and establish the technical acceptance for the network.
  •  Responsible of the roll out procedures for installation, integration or upgrade new or existing services (systems) on the IP network and services.
  •  Provide 24/7 on call support (weekly basis) towards the NMC section.
 Experience/Knowledge:
  •  Engineering degree level (minimum 4-years based)
  •  Previous experience in the field of telecommunication will be consider as advantage
  •  Experience in the IP technologies (switching, routing, STP, VLAN etc).
  •  Experience with CISCO & JUNIPER technologies.
  •  Unix/Linux.
  •  Huawei network elements considered as an advantage
  •  MPLS
  •  VoIP, DSL Technologies, ADSL2+ considered as an advantage.
  •  General overview of upon telecommunication network protocols and principles considered an advantage.

3. Account Manager X 7

4 based in Nicosia & 3 based in Limassol
The role:
The successful candidate will develop and maintain professional relationships with prospective corporate customers, and develop an in-depth understanding of each corporate customer’s business needs to be in a position to effectively promote business services in order to boost MTN Business Sales strategy and meet targets. The successful candidate will receive salary plus commission.
Responsibilities:
  • Organise meetings, presentations and demonstrations to corporate customers in promoting MTN services.
  • Communicate to sales management information on competitor’s activities, feedback from corporate customers and recommend proactive moves where appropriate.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of MTN products and services and how they can be exploited in the different business areas.
  • Maintain customer related reports and records according to the procedures in order to keep corporate customer data up to date
  • Collect competitive information in relations with the efforts of the competition in the corporate segment.
  • Preparation of sales & other required reports
  • Prepare and provide required sales documentation and promotional material to customers
Experience/Knowledge:
  • Previous sales experience – preferably in a corporate sales environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing will be considered an advantage
  • Able to deal effectively with a variety of personalities
