PlaneSense, Inc. is currently accepting resumes and interviewing for Portsmouth, NH (PSM) Atlanta, GA (PDK) & Orlando, FL (MCO) based First Officer positions. Our next F.O. classes are scheduled in April, July, and August 2016.
In our screening process, we look for aviation professionals with strong work ethic and exceptional skills that adapt well to the ever-changing environment that fractional flight operations demand. Crews provide a full range of owner-focused support, from safe operation of the aircraft to hands-on customer service, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Crews must live within 100 miles of PSM, PDK, or MCO, and must hold a current and valid FAA Commercial or ATP pilot license with single and multiengine land ratings. We look for First Officer candidates with 1,000 hours total flight time/fixed wing, unless associated with one of our partner organizations. Pilots must also hold a current and valid second class FAA medical and possess a current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges, and a valid driver's license. Highly qualified candidates will have: Part 135 and/or Part 91 subpart K; Corporate flight; and/or flight time in advanced avionics systems or glass systems.

PlaneSense, Inc., which manages and operates the world’s largest civilian fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft on behalf of several hundred fractional share owners, seeks to hire a highly capable and self-motivated person for a complete spectrum of aviation-related Customer and Crew Service work within its Flight Operations Center (FOC). The FOC manages over 30 aircraft and 100 pilots 24/7 to provide guaranteed on-demand service to its fractional share owners within the boundaries of Federal Aviation regulations, Air Traffic Control and ever changing weather. The environment is a high-energy atmosphere, especially during peak travel periods.
All inbound and outbound communications traffic passes via phone conversation or electronic mail and flights are organized electronically utilizing industry-specific computer software. 99% of the work done is by computer and phone in an open office setting.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as first point of contact for aircraft owners to ensure that owners needs are met and exceeded
  • Build accurate itineraries and send confirmations
  • Research unfamiliar airport facilities
  • Inform owners about Air Traffic Control, weather, and maintenance delays
  • Notify flight crews of flight info to include airport, weather, passenger loads, customs info, etc.
  • FAA-mandated flight tracking
  • Reserving US and international customs landing rights
  • Supports for flight crews while “on the road” to include hotel, transportation, meals

Requirements:
  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software imperative
  • Aviation or travel industry experience is not required, but certainly preferred
  • Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays. We are open Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, etc.
  • Outstanding communication skills required
  • The ability to work as a team-member, but also be self-motivated

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for its repair station, Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in General Aviation. A&P Certificate Required. Responsibilities include repairing aircraft, aircraft engines, and aircraft components in accordance with applicable technical data, industry standards and the Atlas Aircraft Center "Repair Station Manual." Technicians need to have a good comprehension of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems.

PlaneSense, Inc., located in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an experienced Maintenance Controller. PlaneSense, Inc. manages and operates a fleet of over 30 Pilatus PC-12 aircraft on behalf of several hundred fractional share owners. Maintenance Controllers are responsible for coordinating maintenance of the fractional program aircraft on a day-to-day basis. This position works alongside our Flight Operations Center which provides guaranteed on-demand service to its fractional share owners within the boundaries of Federal Aviation regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Facilitate safe and efficient maintenance and ensure compliance with the maintenance requirements of program aircraft in accordance with the Program Operations Manual, Aircraft Maintenance Inspection Program, Minimum Equipment List and the Federal Aviation Regulations.
Education and/or Experience:
  • A&P license
  • 3-5 years Turbo-prop aircraft maintenance experience
  • Computer Skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office programs

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician for its repair station, Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience in General Aviation Avionics and possess excellent troubleshooting skills in modern turbine powered aircraft. Responsibilities include installation and testing of aircraft electronics equipment and systems. Regular duties consist of fabrication, termination and testing of avionics system wiring harness, and the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft interior and instrument panels. Technicians must have a good understanding of and be able to read wiring diagrams and other installation technical data. Pitot/static experience preferred. Airframe and Power Plant certificate required. Excellent computer skills are also required. Excellent compensation and benefit package.

PlaneSense, Inc. is seeking full-time 3rd Shift Aircraft Detailers/Line Service Technicians.
Responsibilities include aircraft cleaning, detailing, stocking aircraft of food and supplies, providing assistance in ground movement & ground support to aircraft, meeting inbound aircraft upon arrival to ramp, and helping prepare aircraft for departure. Other duties may include staging, towing of aircraft, and hangar housekeeping, building maintenance, sanitation, ground maintenance, minor repairs. Technicians will also operate ground service equipment, which may include hand-held radios, motor vehicles, forklifts and tugs.
The work environment involves the outdoors and may present weather variations and elevated noise levels. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Pease International Tradeport Security Badge, and carry a valid driver’s license. Candidates must also be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Aviation experience is not necessary.

PlaneSense Inc. seeks a full time Aircraft Records Coordinator to work in the growing Inspection Department at Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc., the authorized service and support center for the PlaneSense® fractional program.
The Aircraft Records Coordinator performs the daily organizational and logistical functions of the Inspection Department.

Job Duties Include:
  • Assembles inspection packages prior to inspections;
  • Breaks down inspection packages at the completion of inspections and produces draft log entries;
  • Updates technical manuals and documents;
  • Ensures log entries are signed and placed in log books or forwarded to outside customers as necessary;
  • Opens work orders as necessary;
  • Assists business office with work orders;

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma
Previous Aircraft Records experience preferred but not required
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Outlook, MSWord, and Excel required
Experience with the Corridor software application is a plus

Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc. is seeking full time Technical Publications personnel, responsible primarily for the creation, revision and distribution of technical documents and manuals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Create and revise technical documents using Microsoft Word, ensuring consistent formatting, proper grammar and spelling;
  • Convert technical documents and manuals to portable document format (PDF), inserting bookmarks and form fillable fields. Edit existing PDF documents;
  • Distribute documents, as required in paper or PDF format;
  • Assist with miscellaneous recordkeeping duties;

Requirements:

Qualified candidates would have a minimum of 2 years experience and be thoroughly familiar using all areas of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Microsoft Publisher is a plus. Aviation industry experience is preferred.
