Digital Delivery Manager

As a core member of the Digital Banking & Innovation team, your role as Digital Delivery
Manager (DDM) is accountable for managing the end-to-end delivery of digital assets
from creative through delivery.
The DDM will ensure that an integrated plan is established, tracked against milestones,
and safeguard that key handoffs from creative to production are effectively managed.
• End-to-end accountability for managing the projects process.
• Schedule Project Kickoff (Joint Planning Session).
• Coordinate project Ways of Working session with the vendors, digital team and IT
reviewing Build Kits standards, critical dates, handoffs, etc.
• Lead the stakeholders through the project kickoff, project initiation and creation of the
Project Initiation Document (PID).
• Review vendor deliverables throughout all phases (Build-Kit Sign-off).
• Manage business and technical design phase to ensure that timelines, cost and
proposed solution are clearly understood.
• Provide clear communication to the marketing team and vendors about brand through
the build phase.
• Manage projects on time and on budget.
• Ensure all project stakeholders are kept updated with progress.
• Facilitate legal and regulatory reviews.
• Support deployment as needed.
• Qualifying and clarifying brief and managing the process through the Workbench.
• Managing the creation of Scope of Work (SOW) and securing sign off.
• Managing the overall delivery process and liaising with all stakeholders.
• Identify requirements that map back to reusable assets and components to ensure
that the Bank derives maximum value from the Platforms.
• Pro-actively challenges requirements and recommends digital solutions to better
deliver project and business objectives.
• Reports, analyzes, and solves problems and project plan deviations as they surface.
• Executes ad-Hoc daily tasks.
• Acts as Task Master for the digital team.
• Manages project escalations to senior stakeholders to ensure issues are proactively
identified and resolved.
• Identifies communication, ways of working issues and feeds in improvement ideas
into the digital team.
• Creates and documents case studies, best practices.
• Defines processes and tools best suited to each project. Moves between agile and
waterfall approaches depending on project specifics, creating detailed project road
maps, plans, schedules and work breakdown structures.
• Excellent ability to maintain positive relationships even under challenging
• Accountable for identifying process issues and managing process improvement
initiatives with good project management skills and capabilities
• An understanding of digital banking products and FinTech innovation
• Proactive communicator with strong listening skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience in the delivery of digital initiatives, experience managing 3rd party
vendors / agencies
• A good understanding of digital and technologies and ability to pro-actively manage a
portfolio of digital projects
• Risk/issue management: ability to identify, analyse, track, manage and resolve risks
and issues that impact project goals and objectives.
• Applicants for the Digital Delivery Manager role must have an excellent track record
in digital project delivery and stakeholder relationship management. Experience of
working on complex, high budget digital projects within a large multinational
organization is essential.
• Ideally previous experience within the digital landscape or demonstrate a keen
interest and awareness of the digital landscape
• 3+ years project management experience
• Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience required, Masters degree
• Project Management certifications such as PMP and Prince2 are required
