Vice President, Human Resources (City of Dreams Mediterranean)

The Vice President, Human Resources is a member of the Cyprus property’s executive committee, reporting directly to the EVP, CHRO/CSR with a dotted reporting line to the head of the property.   The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources functions which include, but are not limited to, HR business partnering, recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, policies and procedures, all in alignment with corporate standards and policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide proactive HR business partnering services to functional leaders.  Establish relationships with said functional leaders in order to achieve optimum solutions for human resources related initiatives which support the Company’s business objectives.
Responsible for recruitment activities and ensuring that recruitment targets are met within the budgeted expenditure. Responsible for sourcing, interviewing and ensuring timely and quality placements.
Develop, implement and execute HR policies, processes and procedures, recruitment methodology and sourcing platform, based on company guidelines to ensure consistency and effectiveness of the same through analysis of market intelligence and insights on best practices, candidate movements and competitor activities to obtain credible industry and country trends.
Assist in the formulation of compensation and benefits policies and procedures. Review and formulation of compensation packages to ensure both internal equity and external competitiveness and the ability to attract and retain high potential individuals.
Oversee the annual salary review process, bonus payments communications and payout.
Assist to facilitate staff mobility, international transfer matters based on company guidelines.
Integral player in organization building, establishment, management and development of a strong workforce to ensure sustainability and business profitability.
Ad hoc HR projects as and when required.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
Strong commercial and numbers ability, and must be detailed.
Experience in large Hospitality /Gaming industries in luxury and high quality environment, with strong professional human resources discipline background working for established companies.
Mandatory is ability to speak, read and write, Greek.  Must be fluent in English, both oral and written.
Pre-opening of large scale resorts highly desirable.
Minimum 10 years’ experience as the Head of HR role.
Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.  Excellent work ethics required with attention to details, accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Possess high level of integrity and confidentiality.
